Stephen is an associate of Stone & Sallus, LLP, focusing on business, real estate, and civil litigation. Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. While at Georgetown, Stephen interned at a prominent international litigation firm and the Environmental Protection Agency. Upon graduation, Stephen accepted a fellowship at the Humane Society of the United States, where he was part of impact litigation brought to improve the conditions for farm animals across the US. After HSUS, Stephen returned to his hometown of Buffalo, NY, and worked at a civil litigation firm focused on representing clients seeking Social Security Disability benefits. To that end, Stephen represented disability applicants in hearings in front of Administrative Law Judges and challenged denials of benefits before the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. After relocating to Los Angeles in July 2018, Stephen gained admission to the California Bar and began working at a civil litigation firm in Marina del Rey, focusing on real estate and business disputes. Stephen worked on all aspects of litigation, from initial case filing to judicial and non-judicial resolution.
Stephen is admitted to practice in both New York and California. In his spare time he enjoys performing with his band, supporting the Buffalo Bills, and surfing.
