Nathan focuses his practice on business litigation and real estate law matters. Nathan is experienced in all aspects of civil litigation and case management, including discovery and depositions, law and motion, mediation, settlement and trial preparation. Nathan identifies cost and time effective resolutions to cases while exhibiting professionalism in both the courtroom and with adversaries to bring about the best outcome for his clients.
Prior to joining Stone & Sallus, Nathan was an associate at a big law firm in Downtown Los Angeles. He handled commercial litigation and complex torts cases including products liability, general liability, and premises liability matters from inception through resolution for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses. Immediately after law school, Nathan worked at a boutique firm representing plaintiffs in a wide variety of matters. He then moved to a mid-sized insurance defense firm, working on a variety of civil litigation matters, but focusing on insurance defense and consumer defense.
Nathan’s experience representing plaintiffs has helped him develop unique insights into how opposing parties view case evaluation and costs of litigation, which he uses to help guide his clients toward strategies that get results. Nathan understands that every case, no matter how large or small, is important to the parties involved. He strives to make even the most complex cases manageable for his clients before, during, and after litigation.
Nathan dedicates himself to being kind, calm, and attentive to his clients’ needs to ease the litigation process. While he will fiercely defend his clients’ rights, he does not believe the “adversarial system” of litigation needs to be unfriendly. To him, working well with clients, opposing counsel, the Court, and third parties logically leads to a more positive outcome.
