
Kelly P. Sorensen is an associate attorney of Stone & Sallus. Her practice focuses on business, real estate, and civil litigation.
Ms. Sorensen graduated on the Dean’s List from Loyola Marymount University in 2007, majoring in Marketing and International Business, and minoring in French. Ms. Sorensen attended Southwestern Law School and was a staff member and board member of the honor’s program, Southwestern Journal of International Law. Ms. Sorensen graduated cum laude in 2016 and was admitted to the California bar in December 2016. Prior to law school, Ms. Sorensen worked at an entertainment marketing agency for seven years. Ms. Sorensen negotiated marketing opportunities in blockbuster films between her luxury clients and the major Hollywood studios.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sorensen was an associate attorney at a civil litigation firm in Orange County, followed by a personal injury firm in El Segundo for three years. Ms. Sorensen worked on every aspect of her cases from filing the complaint to preparing for trial. Ms. Sorensen was third chair on a multi-million dollar, multi-defendant catastrophic personal injury trial in San Bernardino that resulted in an eight-figure settlement for her clients. Ms. Sorensen helped negotiate and settle millions of dollars in settlements for her clients.
Ms. Sorensen is admitted to practice in both state and federal court. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Ms. Sorensen is originally from Madison, Wisconsin and is an avid fan of all the Wisconsin sport teams. In her spare time, she enjoys running half marathon races, and visiting her niece and nephew in Santa Barbara.
