Kasun Wijeyewickrema is a Southern California Native and a current resident of Carson. Kasun is knowledgeable in a range of legal matter including contract and real estate disputes. He has experience in various aspects of civil litigation, including court appearances, and drafting and opposing a wide variety of motions. Before joining Stone and Sallus, Kasun practiced at an insurance defense law firm that focused on real estate disputes.
Kasun also clerked for a boutique law firm in Beverly Hills that specialized in business and real estate disputes.Kasun received his B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. While at UCI Kasun interned in Washington D.C. for the Minority Business Development Agency at the Department of Commerce.
Later Kasun earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School. While in law school, he
served as an Associate Editor for the Southwestern Law School Journal of International Law. He was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and competed in Brooklyn Law School’s Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence competition where the team advanced to the Semi-Final and won the best brief. He also completed a Judicial Externship at the USDC – Central District with
Magistrate Judge Hon. Michael Wilner.
In his free time, Kasun enjoys spending time at the gym, exploring southern California’s abundant hiking trails and traveling.
